A UK government department is looking to recruit an additional contract technical writer to create and manage technical documentation for service teams, and to document its decisions and how things work.<\/p>\n

They need someone who will:<\/p>\n

\n
• Write technical documentation for internal users and government services, including API documentation and technical guidance<\/li>\n
• Understand GOV.UK style and write content appropriately<\/li>\n
• Improve existing documentation<\/li>\n
• Work with SMEs to identify and fill gaps in knowledge across the programme, including design decision records<\/li>\n
• Work with other technical writers to make sure documentation is consistent and coherent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
