A client of ours has a requirement for a contract Technical Writer based in the UK. It’s a 6-12 month contact working for a government department.<\/p>\n

The role involves documenting internal tools for end users, and providing technical documentation for developers. It’s similar to the [GDS Technical Writer role](https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/technical-writer).<\/p>\n

This includes:<\/p>\n

\n
• Using GitHub<\/li>\n
• Writing in Markdown<\/li>\n
• Writing documentation for a developer audience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Ideally, you will have SC (security) clearance, but they can get that sorted out.<\/p>\n

  Post lockdown, it will be work from home with regular onsite meetings in south London (two or three days per week).<\/p>\n

  Start date: ASAP<\/p>\n

  Rate: \u00a3360\/day<\/p>\n
